This adidas Tennis Camp is back for another year at one of the powerhouse state schools in the Northeast. Located outside of Hartford, UConn is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City making this the best summer tennis camp in the area.
Directing the camp will be UConn Assistant Coach Michael Louis. Michael Louis enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with the University of Connecticut men's tennis team. A native of New York, N.Y., Louis was a four-year letter-winner and former team captain for the Huskies from 2000-04. He remained with the team during the 2005 season as a student-coach and became a full-time assistant coach the following year.
Prior to his arrival at Connecticut, Louis attended the Humanities High School and was named the New York Public School Athletic League Tennis Player of the Year his senior season was also the recipient of the Iron Horse Award for tennis.
Louis has ten years of teaching experience with all ability levels, teaching in both Connecticut and New York City. In past summers, Louis has worked with the adidas Tennis Camps at UConn as both the Assistant Director (2006 & 2007) and Co-Director (2008) roles. |
