Located near the shores of Long Island Sound, Stony Brook provides a great setting for this adidas Tennis Camp.

Stony Brook Men's and Women's Head Coach Gary Glassman will direct this camp. Entering his 8th season as the men's and women's coach, Coach Glassman has compiled a combined 225 wins, setting single season records in wins for both programs, while leading the men's program to their first ever national ranking in 2005. Gary is coming off his finest season yet, making history at Stony Brook by taking the men to their first Division I NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2002, Glassman was named America East Conference Women's Coach of the Year. 2004 saw him continue to pile up honors being named Stony Brook Co-Coach of the Year and was awarded ITA Northeast Coach of the Year for his efforts in the leading men's team to a school record 19-3 2004-05 season. Gary has successfully transitioned both programs to the Division I level, with his teams excelling not only on the court but in the classroom, as numerous players have earned ITA All Academic Team recognition.

Coach Glassman has had success during every phase of his coaching career. Before coming to Stony Brook, he led his Northeast Louisiana Women's squad to consecutive conference titles, going undefeated in conference play. For his efforts he was recognized as the Conference Coach of the Year, as well as, Louisiana's Sports Writers Coach of the Year, leading the Division I program to national rankings in both seasons. He also turned around a Georgia Southern women's program going 25-9 in his last two seasons, including a 14-3 final year, earning him yet another Conference Coach of the Year honor.
