Situated on the coast of beautiful Santa Barbara, this adidas Tennis Camp is a must attend.

Westmont College Head Men’s Tennis Coach Chris Elwood will direct this adidas Tennis Camp. He is currently in his second stint as head coach of the men’s tennis program. Chris coached the Warriors from 1993-97 and returned to take over the reins once again in 2000.

During Coach Elwood’s first tenure at Westmont, the Warriors won four GSAC titles and made four trips to the NAIA National Tournament. He guided his squad to a ninth-place finish in the NAIA in 1996 and followed that up by a program-best third-place national finish the next year. In addition to team achievements, Chris has also coached two All-Americans, one national runner-up in singles and doubles and one national champion in singles in 1997.

A 1992 graduate of Westmont, Chris filled the No. 1 singles and doubles positions for the Warriors as a senior. Still active as a player, he has claimed several titles in the Santa Barbara area. He is an avid beach volleyball player and competes in men's A and AA 2 man tournaments.

Chris earned his teaching credential in English at Chapman College and teaches several PE classes at Westmont. He is also the Head Teaching Pro at the Valley Club in Montecito, and is a USPTA Certified Professional I. Chris and his wife, Tabitha, also a Westmont graduate, are proud parents of two daughters, Avila, who is four years old and Aza Joy, who is two years old.

He will be joined by an energetic staff of top pros and college players.
